Expressive Voices

Breaking out of your shell can be difficult for some and come very easy to others.  We will be doing classroom productions that every student will participate in.  We will work on acting and expressing how the character feels through our voices and actions.  The gentleman in the video does a lot of different voices all are different and unique.  Tune in to your inner characters and push yourself to your limit.  
5th grade Fine Arts-Theater

Being Healthy

At our school we will participate in Physical Education 1 time a week.  As a growing person this is not nearly enough exercise for the whole week.  In health we will talk about the importance of being healthy, eating right, and exercising.  The benefits of being healthy are endless- see the video below to understand why your health is so important.  

5th grade Physical Education

Understanding Rotation

The universe is so large that it can be hard to wrap your mind around.  Watch this video to help you understand the movement of the Earth, Moon, and Sun.  We will learn about this in class, there will be a pretest so watching the video will give you a head start.  

3rd grade Science 
Standard 1: Students will understand that the shape of Earth and the moon are spherical and that Earth rotates on it's axis to produce the appearance of the sun and moon moving through the sky.
Objective 2: Describe the movement of Earth and the moon and the apparent movement of other bodies through the sky.

Utah History Summary Video

Utah is a great place to live.  We will be learning a lot about Utah and the history of this great state.  Here is a short video to help give you a brief understanding of what we will be learning this year- Utah has so many great things to offer.  Be thinking of your favorite part of Utah- we will be sharing in class.  I look forward to hearing why you love living in this great state.

Healthy Relationship and Confidence makes Transition to Middle School Easier

Moving to middle school can be a scary thing.  By building healthy relationships and having confidence in yourself you will be successful at middle school.  Practice makes perfect so practice your locker combinations, and movement from one class to the next.  You will be ready for 6th grade so don't worry.
