While you are still in elementary school a lot has happened in your life. Start thinking about your favorite memories and write them down. This year we will be writing our own autobiography. So as you meet with family over the holidays and on breaks ask to hear stories about your life to help recall these memories. You will be grateful you did this while you were still young because as you grow older those memories will fade. This is about you the more effort you put into this assignment the more rewards you will receive.
Standard 2: Recount stories, including fables, folktales, and myths through diverse cultures; determine the central message, lesson, or moral and explain how it is conveyed through key details in the text.
