Lois Lowry Brochure

Learning about the authors can make books more interesting.  Here is one popular children author to learn about and spark your interest!  As you start reading books that you enjoy and love, find out a little about the author as well.  Many times you will find something in common with the author and that is why you relate to the book.  We will be doing author presentations in class.

Students will use this to understand that water changes its state as it moves through the water cycle as well as describe the basic stages of the cycle and how they move from one to the next. Have you ever wondered where water goes after it rains? Not just down the sewer pipe.  Ever wonder how the water got into the sky so it does rain?  We will figure out the answer to all those questions in class and will do some great experiments.
